ONE YEAR review!
Having used this one for about a year - stepping down from 220 to 110v - in my experience, it works great. It's reasonably well built (of course, I opened it and inspected it before entrusting my devices and my home's safety!). There are a few soldering points that could have been cleaner, but nothing is outright loose or cold-soldered. The transformer is toroidal, machine-wound, of course. The voltage readings are close enough (there is a way to calibrate, but it's very rough tuning, which I did anyway against my Fluke). One other thing I wished it had from the factory, which I added, was a bug screen. I hot-glued some on the inside for added safety. Just to add, in case it's not self evident: this is a voltage converter and it does NOT convert frequency so be sure your appliance can take both 50/60hz as typically 220-240v comes at 50hz and 110-120v is produced at 60hz.

Por ahora fabuloso. Yo tengo en casa aún la luz a 127w. Y tenía y tengo transformadores con mas de 50 años de edad. Puedo poner 3 aparatos de 220w y me da mucha mas seguridad. De hecho acabo de pedir otro igual.

Der Trafo hat meine Erwartungen nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen, da er nicht nur problemlos die erforderlichen Spannungen geliefert hat, sondern auch bei hohen Anlaufbelastungen (Peaks), wie z.B. beim Einschalten von Kaffeemaschinen, Klimaanlagen, usw. nicht ausgestiegen ist. Von daher und auch aufgrund des nahezu geräuschlosen Betriebs ist das Produkt sehr empfehlenswert.

Works perfectly. The price is excellent. This device is rugged and works as advertised. I use this with my Ecoflow power station that I bought overseas. I have the 230 VAC version. In the US, We use 110 VAC. So this Transformer works perfectly at dropping the higher voltage to the lower voltage while still keeping a pure sine wave. I am Very happy with this product. This is both a step up and step down transformer.

No le pongo 5 estrellas no porque el producto sea malo, al contrario es un producto de 5 estrellas peeero, el servicio de mensajería que usa la empresa es lamentable. Best price for the features on the market (that I could find at least). Works well and the voltage display is cool for me as an engineer. May not be useful for others. That breaker on the front-right is also sort of the on and off switch. So if I want to give any critique, it would be that it should better have an actual on/off switch. The whole transformer is also a bit bigger than my previous model. But no problem.

220-110 volt converter.
Well, i got the first, and it was dead, not work at all, they sent me another, and instead of 110v out I got 262v out. So it didn't work either.. The box was a bit damaged by the post office the second time. Maybe they lost it, and thats why it is not working? The product is solid, and heavy, so it should be good quality. I got an refund, but i still had to pay the vat + handling order to norwegian government. About 55euro totally so im not so happy for this purchase. That part the brand don't have a part in, and can't be blamed for, but it's not fun to pay for it for a product that just need to be trashed. I might try to get it fixed by an local shop here, if its possible. Anyway, the customer service was great, I might just was unlucky with the product, I don't know. But for this I think I buy a local product here now, so i can start using my 110v equipment. With the good customer service im not afraid for any new purchases in the future. I assume i was just maximum unlucky with the product.

Have mounted it upstairs. Due to a heavy load on the electric power in socket I need to fix a 15/20 A singular line. It shuts down on my system when power up. Im sure it will be helpfull with all my 110 v machines from US.

Big improvement
These newer transformers are a huge improvement over the previous versions in every way. Unfortunately, I bought 5 of the previous ones less than a year earlier and one is already going bad.
Works okay most of the time
These transformers are finicky. They power switch often takes multiple attempts to stay on. Sometimes, they just turn off while in the middle of using it, despite the appliance being 1/2 to 2/3 the rated power handling of the transformer. The newer replacement transformers are far superior to these. Disappointed!

Teszi a dolgát, terhelető. 1,2kW-os 110V-os rezisztív terhelést könnyedén működtetett! USB portot nem teszteltem, nem is érzem fontosnak, de a statikus terhelést bírja. Hasznos a két feszültség mérő műszer is. Ad-hoc használatban van, nincs minden nap üzemben, remélem tartós lesz.

Works as expected. I have been using it for nearly continuous operation of device at 110...120V from 230V mains (50Hz) on resistive power of 250W. The indicated voltage on the output varies from about 112V (load on) to 117V (load off) according to the built-in voltage display. The device runs cool, no considerable temperature rise or noise. This indicates good efficiency.

It’s been working great so far. We have bought both the 2000W and 3000W transformers, so we can use our American devices here in Europe.The price was good and shipping really fast, within a few days. My only complaint is that I wished it was a bit smaller in size. If you need a step down voltage converter this is the one to buy.

Price quality wise it is a very good deal
I bought this 5000W version but use it currently only for my Japanese 110v computers to run in Europe 220v. So it does not get even warm. Later when I move to Japan I'll be able to use kitchen machines etc... That is why I bought the 5000W version. I had to change to cable from US plug to EU plug, but that was easy done if you are handy with soldering. You can also use a plug adapter. You cannot find a cheaper 5000W unit. So price quality wise this is a very good deal. Features would have been 5 stars if a EU plug version would be sold. Quality I cannot judge fully yet, so 4 stars for now.

It works for the purpose I've bought it, is a bit noisy but is normal. Is adequate for use with kitchen equipments. The delivery delay is the only complain (about 1 month to arrive), but the shipping was free so is understandable.

I'm using the transformer to step down voltage to 120V in two HiFi systems, a slight hum is audible through amp/speakers. Remember USA is 60Hz, Ireland is 50, so Hz can be an issue with US products. It was tripping the 20amp breaker too often, so I installed a new one, still trips from time to time?.......thats without a load on the transformer. I wish it had four 120V outlets......only has 2. My loads are light, not pulling many amps. U.S. multi socket extension outlets do not work when stepping down with a transformer as the neutral leg of the transformer has 240V (I found out the hard way, I should have tested with my multimeter first) Otherwise, the transformer is fine, price is good. I had difficulty with the French websites address format, my address was all haywire, I took a chance with my eircode.
