Everything seems to be good for the exception of the bolt down plate. It is a little flimsy and needs to be reinforced.

Fat boy friendly!
This is the same seat I took off the tractor (john deere 950). It sits well and at 260 lbs the the spring load works well for me. One down side is the bolts that hold the bottom seat on are not easy to tighten.... braces in way. I am happy with it !
Quality Seat and Universal
Good quality seat I also installed one on my 50 hp diesel tractor around 10 years ago that is still like new. I do not leave my equipment outside they are parked inside everything rots if left out in the sun. I installed this seat on a SD60 Hustler ztr for more height the orginal seat was to low similiar to sitting on the ground. I removed the two outer suspension springs and installed two standoffs to stabalize the seat so it would not rock sideways. Update I added a spacer behind the backrest to tilt it more into my back for good support, feels great now. Pic added...

Seat was just what I needed. I did have to do some modification on the mount to get it to fit on a new Holland TN55 tractor. Once I got it mounted, there was plenty adjustment up-and-down back-and-forth to make a comfortable. I think it was a great buy.

Good seat but needed a little modification
I bought this seat to go on a Massey Ferguson 35 tractor. It fit and functions exactly how I had hoped but I had to modify it by cutting off about 2" of the mounting base as well as cutting a notch in the bottom of the back rest support so that it would clear the casting on the rear end. It's going to take a minute to get used to having a padded seat as I'm used to the original steel bucket seat without any cushioning.

Simple installation
Truthfully...I bought two of these seats mainly because they had adjustable torsion ride and mainly because of the price. Installation was simple, hard work but simple. Had to make an adapter plate to fit 1963 John Deere 600 industrial tractor. Took a piece of corrugated box seat came in and made a template. Crude but functional. It worked. Bolted plate to seat, then plate to base. It was rather tall but JD has a sliding base that has an incline that can raise or lower about 6 inches. Just need to get pry bar and hammer to reset contrary base. Loaded some rock and dirt with tractor and noticed ride was a bit high but very usable. Could hear engine exhaust better and not the whine of gears. Visibility is greatly improved. A touch of fine tuning will balance it all out. Seats are worth the price.

Pleased so far for the price
Inexpensive seat, was very similar to the tractor seat that had been on it for years. John Deere 1050 is not a perfect match for the bolt holes on the rear, but the front two worked well. The old seat was only installed with the two front bolts also apparently. Will drill the bracket or add an adapter likely so I do not have to drill the seat plate.

Seat is a little to high for a riding mower, and the top back armrest the metal is too thin causing one side to bend out of place when a little weight was applied getting off ,but the price was good

Seat was purchased as an exact replacement for the seat on a Swinger articulated forklift. Exactlmatch. Cheap bare bones replacement seat. It gets the job done.
