Good for baking bread

These are a nice size for baking a single loaf of bread. They don't have a ton of extra space if you are trying to fit ice cubes inside for steam, but I'm happy with the bread that comes out of them. Would also be a nice size for camping.

Heavy enamel so we'll made more than worth the money. One of the best deals ever! I cannot recommend it enough. Worked perfectly.

I love this spot even though it’s so sunny right there it looks so shiny and so new and I will never let it go. Love this pot

I purchased this pot and ended up buying another one for a family member. The quality is great and it has made great loaves of sourdough. It is lighter than other Dutch ovens so it is easier for me to lift with my arthritis.

Does the job well

I purchased this dutch oven to assist with my bread making but also use it for cooking bolognaise etc on the stove top. It does what it says and the quality is pretty good. No complaints. Its so easy to clean the inside. I'm very happy with it so far.

I’ve been wanting one of these for years for baking bread. Always way too expensive. Most were in the $300 range. This was much less expensive and made of equal quality. Already used it. LOVE IT.

Terrible Service

The brand did not submit my shipping information correctly to the logistics service they chose to use, causing an expensive item to be returned to sender (The brand). In the month it took for this to get corrected, they increased the price of the item I ordered by 100$. Their lack of follow through and accountability will directly cost me 100$ to re order the same item a month later. Order from a different supplier, the brand will not take care of you.

Fantastic for the Price!

I was looking a a brand with a French name but the price was too much, lo and behold the brand sells this bread dutch oven that is very similar! While not the same quality it is insane how nice this bread dutch oven is for the price! Love it after one use!

My Step daughter loves this gift. States the cast iron is excellent for her sour dough, as well as making almost anything else. Clean as you do all cast iron. Having the lid as also a skillet is helpful and great option. Want to buy myself one.

These are great and I use it every week for sourdough. My only complaint is that the matte finish can easily scratch the surface of my hob when I set it on there.

This cast-iron is so pretty and easy to use! I bake bread in it almost every day. It has grooves in the bottom of the pan to help lift the dough up once the bread is baked! It’s also just pretty to have on your counter, I definitely recommend for any bakers!

Very nice cast-iron Dutch oven for baking round bread loaves

A couple of highlights for this bread-baking Dutch oven: 1. Yes, you don’t need this to bake bread. You can use any old Dutch oven. You also don’t even have to use a Dutch oven. But this is enameled on the outside and a little easier to use than a seasoned cast-iron one that you have to invert (use upside down) given where these handles are. 2. The exterior surface and relief and paint are all gorgeous. Vibes of some sort of tropical palm tree and leaf in a deep ocean blue. 3. Flawless initial exterior enameling with a preseasoned interior. Now the most significant limitation that should make you hesitate before acquiring something like this: no, it’s not that it’s heavy or that it takes up space. It’s the risk of damage to this bakery tool when using in the oven at a very hot temperature. Your good old seasoned cast-iron Dutch oven you can throw in at 550°F and not bat an eye. This one says it shouldn’t go up to 500. Exactly what’s going to fail, I don’t know, but it’s so pretty that I wouldn’t want to risk chasing that optimum temperature and hurting the enamel surface of this bad boy. So it’s a little bit of paralysis and even approaching baking with it, unless you have a loaf t…

If you are in the market for or know someone who is in the market for a cast-iron Dutch oven, this is a quality product at a reasonable price. If you happen to know someone who’s looking for a cast-iron Dutch oven specifically for baking bread, whether sourdough or otherwise, this collection is **absolutely perfect**. It comes with just about every tool an amateur bread baker could ask for, and plenty you probably don’t need to get started. Honestly, the only things it lacks are a proofing box, a centuries-old, ready-to-activate heirloom starter mix, and a separate bowl for the initial dough mixing. It’s as comprehensive as I’ve seen, and to get all this for about the price of a normal cast-iron Dutch oven is just an epic steal. I have two other Dutch ovens by the brand and neither one disappoints. They are just as good as Lodge even if their name isn’t as cool. The preseasoning on these isn’t perfect but is good enough. Make sure to be educated in cast iron care before making mistake with something like this, so read all of the directions and watch some YouTube videos as well to reinforce your knowledge and confidence in operating this.

I am pleased with my Dutch oven but slightly disappointed in the shape and size. It is way too “tall” and my sourdough loaves haven’t quite got the space they would like width and lengthwise. However, it is easy to get in and out of the oven.
