Mucho mejor de lo esperado, la verdad que funciona muy bien por el precio que tiene, lo único que le hecho de menos es que pudiera conectarse una pantalla. Por lo demás precio/prestaciones un 10. El montaje es bastante intuitivo y simple, no necesité las instrucciones, te viene prácticamente todo ya montado.

Great set, especially for the price. Spring bracket is extremely useful, since with this bracket you can reach almost anywhere, which is great for electronics repair. Build quality is quite good, but for the price: excellent. Perhaps it need some minor tweaks, but nothing big (like loosening spring a bit etc...)

Super microscope, rien à dire, ou plutôt, il serait possible d'en parler très longtemps, tant la qualité est au rendez-vous. Installation très simple, les matériaux sont de très bonnes factures, que dire de plus, si ce n'est qu'il y a encore des marques avec qui il est possible de faire de très bons deals.

I'm SO pleased with this microscope- it's very well made and opens up a ton of new possibilities I never thought I'd have, given how expensive other such microscopes are. Finding this one at such an incredible price was wonderful and it works SO well. The only small criticisms I have are that the directions for assembling it were a little lacking- although it's not overly complicated; and that you do need a tiny Phillips screwdriver that isn't included or mentioned. One for working on glasses does the job fine. I'd highly recommend this microscope if you have fine work to do- it's so much better than using an Optivisor-type magnifier. The one that comes with a ball vise is a great buy too- the ball vise is really useful and I paid a fair bit more for mine a year ago by itself, so getting it with the microscope is a bargain.

I bought this microscope for jewellery making and as an entry level microscope compared to the ones from the main suppliers it’s 10x times cheaper and performs perfectly. It’s not going to give you the quality of Leica etc, but it’s a great starting point and a huge improvement over visors and traditional loupes. I would certainly recommend this microscope to jewellers, goldsmiths and silversmiths who are interested in purchasing a microscope.

Decent Microscope for the price

This is a huge upgrade from an optivisor for stone setting. I haven’t used a more expensive microscope so I have nothing to compare it to. The articulating arm is pretty stiff and I have to give it a really good yank to get it into position and the cable on the ring light is a little on the shorter side so I might need to extend it or get a different one. My biggest complaint is that the rubber eye guards don’t attach securely at all. I am literally knocking them off onto the floor 29 times a day or if I put the cover on and take off they will disappear so I am planning on buying some new eye guards for it. The ball vice is fine. It works for holding rings but it’s not as heavy duty as a GRS. I really waffled on buying a Leica, then an Amscope trinocular. But after receiving the Amscope, I realized that the brand was about a third of the price and same unit/optics minus the trinocular part. If you need to set stones and not go into debt then this is a great option and I whole heartedly recommend despite the couple of drawbacks mentioned. I own a lot of the brand's stuff (melting furnace, rotary tumbler, fume extractor) in my studio in addition to name brand stuff and the brand hasn’t let me…

A surprisingly great microscope

I have never used a Leica or other expensive jewelers microscope, so I can’t compare it to that. But as someone who doesn’t do jewelry full time, and is using a scope for the first time, I can say that this thing is amazing. I’ve used it a couple times to set stones and view my jewelry and with the light, the image quality is great. I’m very happy with how much easier this makes the work as compared to an optivisor. If you need one, and don’t know why you need a more expensive one, then get this one and be happy.

Works well as a beginner microscope for stone setting. Going from an Optivisor to this has completely changed the game for me, the quality of my work is going way up. No issues at all with the microscope or the stand, definitely worth the price.

Zu den Fakten: Zum Artikel gab es keine korrekte Rechnung, keine Steuernummer, keine Firmen- oder Rücksendeadresse. Letztlich wurden mir 2/3 des Kaufpreises erstattet, immerhin. Eine auf der Webseite Option, eine Bewertung abzugeben, funktioniert nicht, wie zu erwarten. Fairerweise muss ich erwähnen, es gibt einen Kundenservice, der auch antwortet. Fazit: das Geschäftsgebaren ist als unseriös zu bezeichnen, auch wenn der Artikel in Ordnung war.

Perfect for Jewellers

This is absolutely perfect. I am using it to set stones, carve wax, general repairs. It is BIG and it is heavy, you will need a workspace that is at least 60cm wide, and quite thick to secure the base to. The only critical thing I could say is that the cable for the ring light is short and does not come with a plug, just a USB, so keep that in mind. Really fast shipping, in perfect condition. Very happy!

Works Great, Needs to be Broken in

I was fortunate enough to learn jewelry making using the Leica microscope. After leaving school, I knew I needed a microscope but not for thousands of dollars. This is a great option that has comparable quality. I will say though, the springs and the joints are a little stiff and they want to retract back quite often, but I’m sure they’ll loosen up over time. The handles that keep the joints in position could be sturdier, but it does that job. Overall great product :)

Image quality and zoom range is superb for price, stand is extremely robust, rigid and easy to adjust. My only gripe would be the focus mechanism is a bit sticky, and would benefit from less friction, it works but rather spoils the excellence of the head and stand.

be careful screwing in the bottom lens, the threads are plastic and can risk damaging or cross threading them if its not seated correctly. spin in backwards till it drops then screw down normally> great microscope for the cost.

Uso questo microscopio nel mio laboratorio orafo e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. L’immagine è chiara e nitida anche a ingrandimenti elevati (7x–45x), il che mi permette di lavorare con grande precisione su incassature, forature e finiture. La qualità ottica è davvero superiore per questa fascia di prezzo. Il supporto è solidissimo, realizzato interamente in metallo, e offre una stabilità perfetta durante il lavoro. Il sistema a molla è preciso, e l’anello di luce integrato è potente e ben distribuito, ideale per non avere ombre durante le lavorazioni. Unico piccolo appunto: alcuni componenti interni del supporto, quelli che bloccano le regolazioni, non sono in metallo ma in plastica dura spessa e robusta. Sarebbe stato ideale averli anch’essi in metallo per rendere l’intero supporto completamente metallico. Tuttavia svolgono egregiamente la loro funzione, basta non stringere eccessivamente. In conclusione: un microscopio professionale, robusto e preciso, assolutamente consigliato per orafi, incisori, modellisti o chiunque lavori su dettagli microscopici. Lo ricomprerei senza esitazioni.

Overall this scope is a great value. It is definitely not as good as the more expensive rigs, but it gets probably 80% of the way there for a fraction of the cost. Here are some problems you should know about before purchase. None of them are dealbreakers, and can be pretty easily overcame. - the big one is the lead screw for mounting the microscope to the arm was not long enough on my unit. Only about 2 threads were able to grab and so I almost dropped the microscope a couple times when I went to tighten it into place and the threads slipped. I solved it by taking a 1/2 inch drill bit and drilling out a small recess for the handle to sit into so it’d have more purchase on the screw. Now it can’t get quite as tight so the head will still swivel from side to side without much force, but at least it won’t fall off the arm. - the included usb ring light has a couple issues. First the cable isn’t long enough to be ran all the way down the arm and to a power source, so you’ll need an extension cord. Second it doesn’t come with an ac adapter, so depending on your power situation you’ll have to pick one of those up too. Third the light isn’t diffused at all so it can cause some pretty nas…

Great quality and utility given its unbeatable price. I'm a hobbyist and didn't want to drop 8x the money for a meiji or 10x for a leica, so I went with the brand...very happy.

I own three microscopes for stonesetting: a Leica A60 from GRS, a 30 year old Zeiss OPMI, and this scope. The brand is not as good as the other two, but given that the scope plus ball vise were not much more than the headrest for the Leica, it is an amazing bargain. The swing arm is not as good as a GRS acrobat, but again is 1/10th the price. Optics surprisingly crisp, working distance perfect. Ball vice is very useful size and leather lined ring holder is an unexpected bonus. It is hard to set stones 3mm and under without a microscope--I would recommend this to anyone but a full time professional stonesetter. Expectations exceeded!

It’s ridiculous that you can get all this for so cheap shipped from within Canada and have no complaints about quality. But here we are. It even came with a unadvertised 0.5x barlow lens, gives all the working distance you could ever want.

Not for everyone. -Great stand! -Optics are so-so, therefore one needs to have sone experience to diagnose common issues to make this work out of the box. In my case the 0.5x Auxiliary lens had an aberration causing the set-up not to focus right. Tricky thing for a novice to find out. But overall very pleased. Great for hobbyists.
