It has wheels!
So far so good! Great price point for product provided.
Quality Tank, Very Easy to Handle.
Durable tank with wheels; minor issues with wheel assembly, but overall easy to use.
35 gallon gas caddy
Love the 35 gallon gas caddy. Installation was a breeze and the hand pump works great. Pumps much faster and smoother then I thought it would. Highly recommend this product.
Fuel gauge has incorrect readings!
This will be very convenient for me on my property. It works as it should HOWEVER, the fuel gauge gives incorrect readings. I put 12 gallons of gas into it and the gauge says it’s full. From what I can tell there is no way to adjust the gauge. Pretty disappointed in that part but I’m not going to return it at this point. The fuel filter that it comes with is also junk. I had to remove it to fill the tank otherwise I’d be standing there for two days trying to fill it. If you leave it in and try to fill it the filter will actually raise up and then the gas backs up and overflows every where.
No standard pipe fittings.
Seems to be a well built fuel container. This is my third one. Only wish is that they'll keep conformity as in piping....use NPT fittings!! They are just a convinced thing for me, hopefully they will last long enough to semi pay for themselves.
Junk
Had a leak in the bottom, not to mention the float. That's supposed to measure the amount of liquid did not function at all
It’s ok
Ok. Holds gas and pumps well. The wheel fell off the very first time I unloaded it while full, and the bearings came apart from the wheel at the same time. The paint also started to come off the second gas touched it.
Great gas caddy!
I’ve been very happy with this 30-gallon metal gas caddy. I use it for keeping fuel on hand for my mower, tractor, and other equipment around the property, and it has made refueling a whole lot easier. One of the best features is how easy it is to move around. Even with a good amount of fuel in it, the large wheels roll very well and make it much easier to move across the garage, driveway, or around the equipment. That was something I was concerned about with a caddy this size, but it moves surprisingly easily. The pump is another big plus. It pumps gas FAST and saves a lot of time compared with standing there pouring from smaller gas cans. The hose gives you plenty of reach, and being able to roll the caddy right up to the equipment and pump directly into the tank is extremely convenient. The metal tank feels solid and well built, and the 30-gallon capacity means I’m not constantly making trips to refill gas cans. If you have several pieces of equipment to keep fueled, this is a huge improvement over dealing with a bunch of individual cans. Overall, I’m very pleased with it. Easy to move, holds plenty of fuel, and pumps gas quickly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone…
high quality
Built like a tank, very satisfied with the purchase.
....
I should have bought one with the electric pump -- but the one the brand has for $538 is out of reach (and out of touch). This manual pump -- 1. LEAKS GASOLINE at the outflow hose connection to the pump, despite hard tightening of the hose clamp and at least 5 layers of tape underneath. 2. May require over 100 turns to fill a 5 gallon law mower tank -- it sure seemed a lot slower than the electric pump I use on jerry cans. It only pushes out a few ounces it seems for every turn. (The transparent hose reveals its dark "secret.")
Good but could be better design
This works good for a budget minded fuel tank. It does exactly what it claims and does it effectively. The hose is super budget feeling and its not easy to do this one person, where you find a battery close enough to where you are fueling - i usually pull up the riding mower, so i can have the battery close enough but the fuel tank also close to the tractor's fuel tank and still reach the on off switch. BIGGEST thing this needs, lift hooks. Getting this in and out of the pickup for refueling is a pain with just that top bar. To be frank i don't feel safe lifting it from the top bar alone with a fuel 30 gallons. There is no way you are hand lowering it out of the truck by yourself, so you are typically grabbing your tractor and lifting it out with pallet forks or something like a strap to a bucket hook. Even if the bottom had two box fork spots, or the top had lift hook or D Rings, would be game changing.
fuel cap
pump works great, only negative is the plastic cap, it has already worn down so it doesn't tighten up all the way causing fuel to leak out when tilted back, should have a better cap, now we can only put about 15 gallons in at a time
Works Great
Great product. I didnt like the 5 gal plastic cans and wanted something better. I really like this gas caddy. The only issue i have is lifting it in and out of the truck when it's full. Hand pump works great for filling the tractor or mower.
What does this gas can weigh when it's full of fuel? Here's your answer.
Durable plastic, easy to maneuver; the full weight is about 100 lbs.
Best can you could ever own, well worth the price!
Very well constructed, better than plastic cans, worth every penny.
Needs a few improvements
Overall, you wont find something better for the price. But that doesn't mean its perfect. The fuel float glass leaks when the tank is full and you tip the cart over for transport. The fuel cap has a built in breather, but the spring mechanism is too strong and it sucks the sides in and slows the pumping the minute you start. Your better off just removing the cap when you pump. The cap also does not vent pressure out of the tank. So a tank sitting in the sun will build pressure and spray everywhere if full. Could really use a real fuel fill nozzle as well. My hose also arrived with a big crimp right in the middle. Still works, but annoying. I use this to transport fuel down a hill to my dock to fill the boat and have put hundreds of gallons through it now.
Pretty good...
Good capacity, but the pump needs improvement.
At the price of fuel these days, this can quickly pays for itself in fuel savings.
Far better than cheap plastic cans; prevents spills and keeps fuel fresh. Still working great years later.
30 Gallon Metal Fuel Caddy
I was skeptical about spending this much money on a fuel tank. I finally decided to buy it, but after I assembled it the 12v pump was defective. It sprayed gas from the metal cover. I contacted the brand, but their product support was useless. The tank is well built, but the 12v pump is junk. I went to Lowe’s and purchased a manual hand pump.
Works as expected. Quality is solid
No complaints here. We needed to eliminate a few of our 5 gallon gas containers. We go through 7 gallons a week mowing our 6 acres. I have no complaints.
Works great for me. Recommended.
Easy to use for mowers; note the pump requires both hands to operate.
Good heavy steel tank
Sturdy steel tank, works great for diesel, fast flow rate. Note the actual capacity is less than advertised.
This is the last gas can you will ever buy.
Durable, leak-proof design, far better than plastic cans. Will never need to replace it.
Overall, glad I have it.
Pump is pretty cheap, but in 3 mins it will empty the tank. 2nd time I used it, pump locked. I took apart and the assembly is quite simple so I was able to fix it. I suspect it'll require some attention regularly. Cap didn't have a vent system, just a hole in it. When transporting, fuel splashes out easily. I rigged something up to minimize waste. Wheels cannot be tightened as the bearings tighten up with the wheel bolts, even with the supplied washers. Overall, it's still really handy and price is good, but overall quality of assembly is about the worst I saw with the brand.
Swarf all over inlet
Be sure to check thoroughly when assembling, my inlet and screen was covered in swarf, great way to screw up your fuel system! Not cool!
Buy it!
Works well with a new pump, gravity feed works well when elevated.
Airplane owner
Shipped quickly, package delivered undamaged. Unit was easy to install and works as expected. Only issue is with the metal fuel quantity float ball which filled with fuel through small pin holes rendering the quantity indicator useless. Other than that great unit
Great gift
Husband loved this as a gift; used for 6 months with no complaints.
Good product
Good product, though it lacks a fuel level indicator.
Great deal, works perfect for my needs
Well-built fuel tank that works perfectly for my needs.
dependable mobile gas storage
Works well, no leaks; pump dispenses fuel quickly, though hard to pump the last gallon.
Mr
I have bought 2 of these one electric and one with the crank. Best investment I made have one at the lake and one for my hobby farm
Know What You Are Getting & How To Use It !!!!
Holds 14 gallons, gravity feed works quickly; lay it on its back to avoid valve issues.
Good
Works well, though it lacks a built-in pump for fuel transfer.
Works great
The product works well, though it is heavy when full.
Retired diesel mechanic.
Great looking for transfer tank but it was rusted inside the fill neck. It is a steel tank but not treated on the inside with rust prohibiter so will rust with condensation. Might be ok for diesel fuel due to the oil in it but would not recommend for gasoline. I returned this due to the rust.
Space saver.
Great for eliminating multiple gas cans in the garage.
Gas caddy 30 gal
Went together super easy, love the setup just wish it can with the 40$ automatic shut off commercial style nozzle, also the gauge stopped working within 2 days but other than that great deal and works good
20 Gallon Fuel Caddy
Works exactly as advertised. Make sure you have the means to fill it and unload it after adding 20 gallons of gas which weighs about 120 lbs.
Pricey, but quality and durable construction
Top-notch quality, easy to use with no spills, though shipping took longer than expected.
The last gas can you’ll ever buy!
Durable, easy to use with a strong pump that prevents overfilling. Great value.
Easy
Works well, though the manual pump is tiring; battery-operated is preferred.
Perfect design for durability
Solidly built with a heavyweight hose, uses gravity-fed pumping with no electricity needed.
Works great
Works exactly as described; the auto shut-off feature works well.
Owner
This unit was above my expectations. It was very easy to assemble everything on this unit is great if I had to buy another one I wouldn't hesitate to buy one Great job
Construction Manager
Bought one for my job site to keep fuel for generators. Will buy another one for my shop. Great tank and pump works well. Only thing I will do different for next one is weld on lifting eyes before I put fuel in it. Or arrange for on site fuel delivery.
No leaks. Works great.
No leaks, works well. Remember to keep pumping the handle for fuel flow.
Week End Worrior
Great product! Good quality and easy to use...well worth the money!
40 gal fuel caddy
I got the manual pump 40 gal caddy with 4 wheels. Least assembly, took about 5 minutes. Looked like it should last a long time. Good powder coat job. Decent welds. No leaks. Bought for my shop to fill up generator's and motorcycles. The fuel level is spot on and I was impressed with that. Easy to move around In my shop but I also have a concrete floor. But all in all it was a good purchase. Wry pleased with it.
A safe, well made gas can
Heavy gauge steel, safe and durable, though the safety cover requires muscle to open.
Good product
Good quality, works great. Fits tightly for transport.
Awesome transfer tank
Great for DEF transport, pump works quickly; added a valve to reduce line pressure.
Good product and worth the money
Holds just enough fuel to meet my needs.
Functionality
Well-made 25-gallon gas tank, easy to wheel, great for generators and emergencies.
Good purchase
Works well and moves easily; recommend adding a battery-operated pump for diesel use.
Great Quality
Ergonomic design, easy to use and long-lasting. Still works like new after years.
No more Jerry Cans
This works great for us. We are in our 60s, and we don't have to lift Jerry cans or spill to fill lawn equipment anymore. After we fill the Jerry cans at the gas station, we just put the Fuel Caddy hose into the Jerry can and turn the pump handle in reverse; it syphons the gas from the Jerry can into the Fuel Caddy. When fueling the lawn equipment, just put the hose into the gas tank and turn the pump handle forward to fill it. Heck, you don't even have to go to the gas station with Jerry cans if you don't want to. Just put the Fuel Caddy hose into your vehicle's fuel tank, siphon the fuel out, and then pump it into your lawn mower or whatever piece of equipment you need. Seems like it is good quality and will last. Had a bit of an issue with the alignment of the pre-drilled holes and the bolts on the handle, which was an easy fix with a drill. Other than that, no issues so far.
Works well!
Purchased this item to fill small engines at the Firehall, works fine for this application.
Works perfect for my needs.
Used to pump water into a boat at the marina; works perfectly.
Owner
Both tanks have been performing perfectly
