We purchased this cart to hold a 100 foot garden hose. It has worked out perfectly. Easy to move it around. Water flow is great through our hose.

Schlauchwagen

Für einen 3/4zoll Gartenschlauch mit 25m Länge völlig ausreichend und es ist sogar noch Platz. Ich hätte es begrüßt wenn der Schlauchwagen mit einem 1m Anschlußschlauch geliefert worden wäre. Den hab ich dann selbst zurecht gebastelt. Ansonsten ist der Wagen stabil und voll funktionstüchtig. Würde ich bei Bedarf wieder kaufen.

Good cart,, but requires leader hose to connect to faucet

Nice cart., works well, strong built,,, disappointed that it didn’t come with a short leader hose , which I had to purchase after unpacking this product,, and learned of no hose included,,,, and yes it does state in the advertisement that no hose included,, I misunderstood thinking they meant of the long garden hose not included, a lot of other brands included this leader hose with purchase.

Solid Built Hose Reel

Got this hose cart to manage my 175' x 5/8" hose I use from my pond irrigation pump for watering the plants and lawn. The 175' of 5/8" hose pretty well fills the reel, you might get another 25' of 5/8" hose on it (200' total). It handles the hose weight very well but I think if the wheels were a larger diameter the cart could move a bit easier over bumpy grass / ground conditions. A bit of a struggle but not a big deal. One thing I find a bit irritating is that the wound up hose reel wants to unwind when your moving it and you have to somehow hold or loop in the end of the hose on something on the cart to hold it secure. If there was a clip or some type of reel locking / holding device installed to hold the reel in place from turning around, that would be very handy. Still, can live with it, and overall pleased with the purchase.

Very sturdy and well made with high quality steel

I expect this hose reel will last many years. The steel is high quality, and the reel easily rolled in my 100 foot heavy duty 3/4 inch hose, which is quite a pain to use without this reel. Notes: 1) It took quite a bit of time, maybe an hour to put together. 2) The wheels are cheap (everything else is high quality) but I expect they will last a long time and would be easy to replace is ever needed. 3) I did not test how the hook up to my water supply works because I don't anticipate using it.

Perfect storage

Works perfectly. Holds my 200 foot hose great. Makes easy storage. Its light weight. And easy to move around. It is very simple to put together.

Good price hopenot lasts longer than the plastic carts

The instructions are not the best...but after i bought it in chgo....i ordered another one for my cabin in mich. I put them together. The plastic carts break after a year or two...so i opted for metal. Its lightweight and seems sturdy.. i use a 100 ft hose. The connections are brass...no leaking yet...

Quality hose reel cart for a reasonable price. It took about a little over an hour to assemble.

Replace the o ring!

Three month(ish) review It is sturdy in every aspect except the handlebar to push it around; the part sleeves onto the frame and isn’t 100% secure so it has a loose fit that will gradually get more loose over time. The cart “handles” well in terms of pushing it around, and the added storage space on the handlebar is far more useful for organization than I had expected. The one truly big con is the o ring included failed spectacularly. Replacing it with one from a repair kit solved any issues I’ve had and it’s been absolutely leak free since. Overall, it’s a solid reel cart that punches a bit above its weight, but the o ring leak was rather frustrating and ruined what was otherwise a 5 star product.

Bought used - like new, then bought new

200 ft bought new 4 star: I would suggest spending the little extra to buy a new product, you have a better chance to have all the parts. I live the steel frame and brass connectors. This holds my garden hose well and seems like it will last. 175 ft bought used - like new 2 star: This looked new with few minor wear, but it looked new. When I separated the parts, it was missing a screw and nut to connect the contact bars. I had to return it before putting it together and purchased the new version. The quality looked great.

Schlauchwaggen gut, aber nicht perfekt.

Das Material ist stabil und gut gebaut. Aber für große Menschen ist der Bügel zum ziehen zu kurz. Ich habe mir den Bügel verlängert. Selber gemacht, dann weiß man auch die richtige Länge. Schlauchtrommel könnte etwas größer sein, weil ich einen 3/4 Zoll Schlauch genommen habe. War auch kein anderer zu bekommen.

Quality for the price, and easy assembly!

If the name is on it, you'll be happy with the quality and the price! I have a Kubota BX compact tractor and purchased many of their attachments, winches, lifting hook chains, forks and never have been disappointed!! This hose cart is perfect for the "soakers" and up to 5/8"!! Two thumbs up from this ol' timer!

Still like it enough

I have owned this about a year now , I bought a 200 ft hose for it as well , this year , I seen a bubble form at the front part of the back tire , kinda like what happens to metal when , It gets hot , I was resting in tall grass mind you, so I brought it back by the spicket, but none the less the zink coat , has blistered off from what looks like a bubble forming in the tube

Excellent hose cart

The cart is exactly as described and seem to be very good quality of manufacturing. It also hold moor 5/8" hose than noted on the website. Much better than my old one.

What I needed

I have had several hose reels made out of plastic and they just don't hold up, especially when you have a lot of hoses. With this hose reel, l can put all my hoses on it and eliminate all the other cheep reels. 300' of hose, I can reach every area I need, and it reels up all that hose with ease

I was told about your site by a coworker around 5 weeks ago. Since then I have ordered 3 different products from your online company. All I can say is, I wish he would have kept his mouth shut. I have a hose reel, it is a plastic one, but it has served me well for several years and is still in good condition. The reason I bought this one from you is because the first 2 products I purchased were of such good quality for the price I figured I would purchase this hose reel knowing that it will last me the rest of my life. I am 64 and retiring next year. I will give my other reel to someone who does not have one. I am sure I will be replacing other things with your products. Thanks for being the kind of company that we use to have 30+ years ago. Quality first.

I really needed on e of these reel carts. Easy to assemble work well . I believe it will last a long time,pretty sturdy,and easy to move around.

Nice hose reel but BAD instructions

Who ever wrote the instructions obviously never put one together. Warning: this assembly will take more than an hour (more than a couple of hours if you follow the original instructions.) Not intended for novice assembler. -The parts list was thorough - list of tools needed for assembly are (1) wrong and (2) old fashion. Where it lists need of a screwdriver it should have listed Philips head. There are only Phillip screws included. Step one on the instructions doesn’t work. If you follow this the wheel axles will be too short to allow all 4 tires to fit. What did work is: (1) assemble side frames then place the axles and mount all 4 wheels. It’s a little tricky inserting the lower bolts but doable. (2) add the front crank frame with bolts (3) then slide the cross brace onto the side frames and attach with screws. From this point on the assembly is correct. As for old fashion tool suggestion I did use a 10mm wrench, but using a battery powered drill with a 10mm socket made assembly much easier. Just be careful not to torque the bolts all the way as the frames will become misshaped. Final note, the plumbing tape is plastic based, unlike traditional plumbing tape. You’ll need scissors…

One problem

The hose reel stand itself is well-built and sturdy. The problem is with its connectors. The NH 3/4" fittings on the product are not compatible with the G 3/4 / BSPP garden hose and plumbing fittings commonly used in Finland and elsewhere in Europe. Although both are referred to as 3/4 inch threads, they are not the same thread standard, and the parts are not mutually compatible. For a product sold in Europe, suitable adapters should in my opinion be included, or the fittings should be designed from the start to be compatible with European G 3/4 / BSPP parts. A suitable NH 3/4" to G 3/4 / BSPP adapter is difficult to find in Finland, so the problem is effectively left for the customer to solve. I got the product working by cutting the supplied connecting hose in the middle, keeping the original NH 3/4" fittings at the reel connections, and installing Hozelock-compatible quick connectors at the cut ends of the hose. However, this is not something a customer should have to do when setting up a new product. Overall, this is a good and sturdy hose reel stand, but the compatibility of the fittings with parts commonly used in Europe should be fixed, or at least stated much more clearly.

Obwohl ich die Fertigungsqualität zunächst beanstanden musste, vergebe ich volle 5 Sterne. Hier die Gründe für meine positive Bewertung: Durchdachtes Konzept: Da sich die Schlauchtrommel quer zur Radachse dreht, bleibt der Wagen beim Auf- und Abrollen absolut stabil und verrutscht nicht. Hervorragende Bereifung: Die großen Räder machen den Wagen auf losem Untergrund sehr leichtgängig. Dank der Vollgummireifen gehört das Problem "platter Reifen" der Vergangenheit an. Enormes Fassungsvermögen: Die Trommel ist groß genug, um selbst lange 3/4-Zoll-Schläuche mühelos aufzunehmen. (s. Fotos Vergleich "Alter" vs. "Neuer" mit 1/2 Zoll Schlauch). Preis-Leistung: In der Gesamtschau ist das Angebot als sehr gut zu bewerten. Exzellenter Service: Ein großes Lob an das Service-Team! Meine Beanstandung wurde ernst genommen und die Angelegenheit schnell und zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit gelöst. Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die ein stabiles Arbeitsgerät suchen.

Description says -NO assembly required, but item came in a box in many pieces. But the quality looks good. Please update your description to let people know. The fact that the item was “NO” assembly as stated in the description was the main factor in my ordering this item. Only giving 4 stars Item not assembled since item was not already assembled as stated in description.

Great product for watering chores

Quality product, good fit and finish, should last for years. Easily accommodates 175' of 5/8th inch hose. Brass connectors, not plastic. Large solid PVC wheels provide easy transport when fully loaded. I won't miss the plastic reel it replaces. User assembly error required support from manufacturer. Access to Manufacturer was easy and remedy provided in promised timeline. Recommended!

Hard to assemble.

Seems well made. However, assembly is somewhat complicated. Instructions are vague. You need some mechanical ability to assemble.

Sturdy but needs an adapter!

Easiest assembly seems pretty sturdy. Give it four stars because the hose connection inside the reel does not have a 90° adapter. It’s straight so the hose pinches as you roll it.
