Nicht dafür gebaut, funktioniert aber hervorragend
Ich zweckentfremde die Kaltlaminiermaschine, um Platten miteinander zu verkleben. Sie ist zwar eigentlich nicht dafür gebaut, eignet sich dafür aber hervorragend. Der Grip der Rollen ist super, Verarbeitung und Material sind für diesen Preis absolut in Ordnung. Das Einzige, was für mich nicht ganz ideal ist, ist die nicht synchrone Verstellung. Da ich Stahlplatten mit Epoxidharzplatten verklebe, stelle ich die Walzen sehr stramm ein, sodass sich das Gummi gut anpasst. Es entsteht so zwar nicht überall der exakt gleiche Druck, aber mit ein wenig Übung und feinem Nachjustieren funktioniert das super.

Die Gummiwalzen sind sehr gut. Das mitgelieferte Handrad ist definitiv zu klein und hält nicht gut. Ein größeres Rad liefert einen ruhigeren Durchlauf und damit ein sauberes Ergebnis. Habe das Rad ausgetauscht, was ein wenig verzwickt war, da beide Walzenenden im gleichen Abstand rausstehen und das Schwungrad nicht ohne eine Achsenverlängerung am anderen Walzenende vorbei passt.. Aber mein persönliches Problem! Die beidseitigen Auflagen sind für meine Zwecke zu schmal, weshalb ich diese verlängern musste.

Goede stevige rol, net breed genoeg om 1 meter in door te rollen. Ondanks stevige verpakking was de metalen zijplaat ingedeukt. Door ze los te vijzen heb ik ze een beetje kunnen uitdeuken, heeft wel geen invloed op de werking, alleen jammer van het uitzicht.

Contre collage de photos sur PVC expansé : Petit bémol : notice en anglais et pas de conseil comment régler de façon optimal la pression des rouleaux sinon très pratique. Petit conseil : je protège la photo avec une feuille de papier cristal pour qu'elle ne soit pas en contact avec le rouleau et après je range l'engin en remettant la protection d'origine pour éviter de salir le rouleau supérieur.

Great little slab roller for pottery. It’s a good size for a small studio and pretty sturdy.

L’appareil est très bien. J’aurais aimé des explications plus complètes. Par exemple, on dit que les rouleaux ne doivent pas de toucher si on ne s’en sert pas pour longtemps, mais on ne dit pas comment on peut laisser un espace entre les deux. Et les instructions sont en anglais seulement

Worth the investment.
Absolutely love this thing. Realistically it's probably a 4.5 star but I know how ratings affect stuff. Here are my complaints: Heavy. It is super heavy. You've been warned The wheel on the side. It doesn't come with instructions on how to attach it, so I'm assuming there's more than just putting it in the slot (there's like a nub sticking out that the wheel has a slot for and it slides on it.) unfortunately the wheel comes off often during use. There's 2 screws on it so I suspect you might need to fiddle with those and screw it in more to secure or something, but I honestly just leave the wheel off. I actually just roll the top of the roller with my hands and it works for what I need to do since I have more control, and it's not as hard as turning a wheel with my carpal tunnel. If you do that, be careful. Do not use sleeves. Be mindful of where your fingers are going. Another thing is it starts with this like, coating on the rubber that leaves residue on what you are rolling. I sandwich protective sheets on what I roll so it's a non issue if you do that and I've noticed it's going away after use. Also, it STINKS when you take it out for the first time as most stuff like this do. A…
Get creative
I actually use this laminator as a slab roller for smaller clay projects. Just make sure you use some canvas on both sides. Works great you can adjust the space between rolls pretty easy. Probably not appropriate for big slabs but works great for what I need, without the big price tag.

Das Gerät ist der Hammer, ein paar Schrauben anziehen und es ist einsatzbereit. Am meisten beeindruckt war ich von der Verarbeitungsqualität. Aber auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sensationell. Es ist sehr angenehm, damit zu arbeiten. Einzig die Gebrauchsanweisung ist praktisch unbrauchbar. Da musste ich selber ausprobieren. Aber ich habe nur den ersten Versuch versaut. Ich habe dann gemerkt, dass die Klebfolie ein wenig nach oben agespannt werden muss. Ausserdem habe ich diese vorangehend mit einem Schutzpapier versehen, so dass die Klebfolie nicht ungewollt anhaftet. Das Resultat ist nun immer tadellos, keine Luftblasen und nichts.

Sturdy, almost all metal construction. It is a nice size that can be used on a counter or table, but easy to move around. I just used it briefly, but it was smooth and easy to use. The directions are minimal, but there really isn't that much to explain.

I’m not sure why all the bad reviews. I bought this for clay instead of laminating. It works fantastic!!! The shipping stuff that I saw on here must have been worked out because it came in great condition. The closest tool I could find for clay was close to $800. I am pumped to get this at $100. Would recommend.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't see 25 inches. This is substantially larger than I need(Ed) however! I love this thing. Easy to put together, easy to use.

Ich habe es zweckentfremdet und nun ist es mir eine Hilfe beim plotten. :D dafür funktioniert es, leicht modifiziert, ausgezeichnet. :) Abgesehen davon erfüllt es aber seinen Ursprungszweck ausgezeichnet. Die Rollen sind super, lassen sich fein einstellen und laufen komplett gerade. Kann ich also empfehlen. (:

We just got this laminator to pair with our Roland BN-20A 20" digital printer. Could not be happier with the way it works. Quality is there with the larger automatic laminators I have used and for a manual laminator it so easy to use!
