Good quality feeder
Use it for feeding the chickens. Works well and allows me to fill up the tray every 4 weeks or so. At times I do open the top to check amount left in tray and push feed down into the open feed area. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

Great chicken feeder.
Took a few days for the chickens to realize what they had to do to get the food but now Im no longer having to worry about the local mice getting fed as well. All other feeding setups, the mice got in either because the hole was available for them to get into or they just chewed theor way through. Same for the squirrels, but now the chickens are the only ones getting it. This feeds my 14 chickens for about 4-5 days. Maybe if I get more chickens I will get another one but right now we as rent able to eat all the egg they are laying for us.

Malgré la qualité du produit, il y a un réel défaut de conception. En effet, lorsque je le remplis, dès que les poules picorent, les grains dévalent à l'extérieur et cela malgré la grille censée les freiner. C'est assez catastrophique car je perd énormément de nourriture qui forme un tas devant la mangeoire et je ne vois pas comment y remédier. Donc très déçu du fonctionnement

Bought this to keep the rats out of the feed. Only have two older chickens in a small coop so this is plenty for them. Only giving 4 stars because the lid doesn’t always fall completely closed and there were no instructions on how to get the chickens to use it.
Not water/rain proof for outside use!
If you use this in a covered coop where it does not rain, then it will work. It is NOT good for outside because the rain will just run down the front and under the lid and into the opening of the food bin mouth. I bought this newer bigger model because I bought the older model which works great and I wanted a bigger one that held more food. It is a one star because it has a design flaw for outside use. Get the older model which is still available if you want it for outside use.
Perfect quality!
Working perfect!The chickens quickly learned to use this. It works very well. The magpies have also learned and are eating the chickens' food ;-) I bought another feeder like this.

The chicken feeder is surprisingly good. Easy to assemble with all tools provided. The chooks learned how to use it within a day! And it's still working flawlessly a few weeks later. I'd say worth the money.
If You Have Rats, Buy This Feeder
If you have a rat problem, this feeder is a great bargain. It has done an excellent job of keeping my chicken feed away from rats. Its made of steel, so rats will not be able to chew through it. It will also protect the feed from rain. Are chickens afraid of it at first? Yes, but they can be trained. The easiest method is to prop the lid open and let them eat from it for a few days. Then, tape or glue a few mealworms to the lid. When they peck at the worms, the lid opens, and they quickly learn how it works. Mine figured it out within a few days. One minor complaint is that a few of the metal edges are a little sharp. I covered those spots with duct tape, and that solved the problem. Considering the price and how well it keeps feed away from rats, its an amazing find!
Great feeder for the price
I was looking for a chicken feeder. We previously bought the screwable ones made of plastic that you can install on a pail. There was a lot of waste on the ground. With this one, we thought it couldn’t be worse, but it ended up being way better than we thought. The food dispenser is well made and the grains it don’t get stuck in the middle of it where the birds can’t reach. Not the highest quality on the market, but for the price, it remains a way better option than using a pail. I would recommend it.

Pas très content de ce produit. Dans la description il est marqué étanche hors c'est faux. S'il pleut l'eau va rentrer entre la réserve a grain et le couvercle au dessus de la mangeoire. Vraiment déçu car je n'ai pas la possibilité de le mettre à l'abri.

25 lb feeder
Received this feeder today, I planned to use it while I am away on vacation as it said it has a 25 lb capacity. I also bought one that said 40Lb capacity. There is no way it will hold 25 lbs of chicken feed.

The product is good, product is great. The only enhancement I would recommend is adding sealant to the seems before putting the box together. Not a negative on the product but water will naturally seep in if it’s outside in the elements.

Montage rapide et très facile ,de qualité pour le prix , le seul problème et le plus important , lorsque les poules vont picorer , devant chaque ouverture , elles font tomber pas mal de grain par terre , dommage ….

I bought 2 feeders, 1 for the layer pellets, and 1 for the scratch. I left them open for a week so the chickens could learn how to use them. The chickens are useing them without any issues. For 13 chickens the feed lasts almost 2 weeks.

Terrific Feeder
This feeder works terrific after we secured down the section to stop the chickens from flinging food. It was a little too short it kept dropping. This feeder has saved so much food from being wasted.
Wouldn’t do it again
Maybe it’s just my flock but they were too rough for this. The side pieces bent down a few times which wasn’t a big deal to fix. The real problem came when I came out to find the feeder bin full of blood. I believe that one chicken jumped on the feeder lid while another was eating and caused it to shut on the chicken. Whatever happened, it hurt at least one bird and they were not wanting to eat from it after that. I also found that it doesn’t work well in a coop using deep litter method. It’s now sitting unused and I’m wishing I would have stuck with the old system.

I have been using this feeder a few weeks. It doesn't take 25lb of feed maybe 15lbs. Most of the chickens use it but it took a while for them to figure it out. The ducks don't use it at all which is a pity. I have to put out feed in the old feeder for them. If that changes I will edit this
buon prodotto ma non funzionante
Il prodotto e fatto con buon materiale, facile da montare. L'ho acquistato per non andare tutti i giorni nel pollaio (15 galline) e non far sprecare cibo facendolo mangiare dai topi. lho installato nel pomeriggio inserendo all'interno un sacco intero di 25 kg di mangime, il giorno dopo il contenitore era vuoto, i topi hanno mangiato tutto.
NOT rainproof.
The design would be water proof if there was a lip around the feed opening, but there isn't. So when rain travels down the front it goes right under the lifting lid and into the grain bin. The original design my Grandpa's Feeders has this lip and is actually weather proof. Your design, which is def cheaper and comparable, lacks several of those feeders features. So while I like product it needs to be in a protected location. Its NOT rainproof.

This chicken feeder is better priced here at the brand than other places - buy here. It has a learner stage to help them figure out it out and they only needed it for two days. The metal is strong and sturdy but surprisingly light to pick up even full of food. Easy to put together with good directions. I sent the link to two other people I know to buy this product I highly recommend it. Saves feed from them throwing it around and NO more sharing with other critter! Buy it now don’t waiit

Its good but not without flaws. 1st its marketed to be twice the size that it actually is. Saying it holds 25 lbs of feed, while it really only holds about 13 lbs of feed. The pedal is too slick and the chickens slide right off. And last the lid gets stuck open. I had to drill holes and install springs to close the lid. Its better than most, but it has issues.
